Feed My Sheep.  A food distribution to people in the surrounding communities on the 1st Saturday of every month. Truck arrives at 8:00am (volunteers needed) and food distribution starts at 9:00 am.  A donation of $10 per family is asked to help cover trucking costs.  You will go away with food worth many more times that amount.  Please bring bags and boxes for your food.  For more information or to volunteer for this event contact Julie Pemble-Peterson at 715/488-2935 or Grace Baptist Church at 715/463-5699. 

 

Grace Garage.  Grace Garage is a car care ministry.  If you meet income guidelines below, call 715/463-5207 for an appointment. 

Grace Garage is held the third Saturday morning of the month.  By attending a budgeting class for two hours while your vehicle is being serviced, your car will receive an oil change, belt and light bulb check, have fluids topped, wiper blades checked and filter replaced.  There is no charge to you.  However, you MUST call for an appointment. 
 

Grace Nursery School.  For three and four year olds during school year.  Teachers are Kelly Roberts (Director) and Carol Reichstadt.  Both are trained in Early Child Education.  For the 2005-2006 school year the following class will be held:

(For 3 or 4 year olds as of 9/1/05) Tuesdays & Thursdays, Mornings, 9 am-11:15 am Orientation Day and Classes start the day after Labor Day and thereafter correspond to the calendar of Grantsburg Schools, including snow days.

Cost:
$20 per family registration, due when registering.  (This will hold their spot)
The cost is $55.00 per month per child
(Second child enrolled at same time - 1/2 price)

Please plan to pay monthly fee the first school day of the month.  Make checks payable to Grace Nursery School.  If tuition has not been paid for 2 months, a child will not be allowed to continue until paid.  If necessary, scholarships are available, but MUST be applied for. 

Eligibility:
A child may start school in September if he/she is 3 by September 1st and potty trained.  They may start in January if space is available, but child still must be 3 by the September 1st cut-off.

Wednesday Evening Supper.  There will be a supper served for all ages (kindergarten through adult) between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm on Wednesday evenings before Wednesday night activities.  Everyone is invited!     

All Stars for Jesus.  All Stars for Jesus is a ministry for children between the grades of Kindergarten through 5th grade to get together on Wednesday evenings during the school year.  The children spend time singing, recreation, crafts, Bible learning, club store, and a snack time.  All Stars for Jesus starts at 6:00 pm following the supper and finishes at 7:30 pm.  Carissa Johnson will be leading All Stars for Jesus this year.   

  Youth Ministry.  There is a ministry to junior and senior high youth (grades 6-12) on Wednesday evenings during the school year starting at 6:00 pm.  Middle School (6-8th grade) and High School (9-12th grade) meet separately.  This is an evening of singing, games, and a challenge from God's Word.  Don't miss out on these times of encouragement and growth!  This group goes on many outings and ministry trips. 

Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan's Purse which delivers gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God’s love to millions of children around the world.  In 2004, Operation Christmas Child collected over 7 million shoe box gifts worldwide and distributed them to children in 95 countries.

All Stars, Middle School & High School Youth are encouraged to bring small gift items that will be packed into shoeboxes and sent to needy children around the World.  Gifts may include toys, school supplies, hygiene items, & other items like sunglasses, flashlights, T-shirts, hats, etc.  DO NOT include war-related toys, chocolate or perishable food, liquids, medicines, or breakable items. 

Church Body Ministries. 

All Stars for Jesus.  For grades kindergarten through fifth grade during school year. 

Discipleship Program.  One on one discipleship training. 

Primetime Fellowship.  For ages 50+ meeting second Tuesday of every month. Activties, potlucks, etc are planned for most months.  Check the Events Calendar or call Yvonne (463-2430) or Peggy (463-5699 or 463-5521) for monthly activity events. 
 

Men's Small Groups.  Small groups of accountability and sharing for men.  Meeting at various times and places. 

Missions.  Church supports both home and foreign missionaries. 

Prayer Team Ministry.  A team ministry praying for church needs and outreach. 

Sunday School for all ages.  Meeting during school year. 

Wednesday Evening Bible Study and prayer.  Bible study and prayer for adults and youth grades 6th through 12th.

Women's Ministry.  Regular meetings of inspiration and service for women.   

Youth Ministry.  Times for fellowship, activities and service for youth 6th through 12th grade.
