Coronavirus:  An Update for Grace Church

March 17, 2020

Dear Church Family,

Due to Governor Ever's Ban today on the public  gathering of groups that
are larger than 10 people, we are canceling Wednesday night ministries
(All-Stars & Youth Connection).  We were hoping the ban would not
include churches but we have verified that it does indeed include
religious institutions and places of worship.   This is no longer a
guideline nor a recommendation but a mandate we will follow.

Our Elders have just finished meeting and thoroughly discussing the next
steps Grace Church needs to take as we respond to this pandemic.

Our primary concern was what to do about our Sunday Worship Services.
We have concluded that we will be moving Sunday morning worship from
gathering together at Grace Church to gathering in select homes with
other families from Grace at our normal meeting time of 10:15am.
Details of what this will look like will follow in the next couple of
days.  So, YES, we will be gathering together for worship this Sunday!!
No, it will not be at Grace Church, but in smaller gatherings in homes
where we will view a message streamed live via the internet and
connecting together, as one fellowship, at he same time, but in
different locations.  If you would like to be a host home for this,
please call the office and we will talk with you about it further.

During this time of "social distancing" where we cannot gather in large
groups, our Grace Church Family will have the opportunity to minister to
each other and to our neighbors in new and creative ways.  You will be
hearing more about ideas and opportunities to help meet various needs in
the coming days.

May God's blessing and grace be with you,

Pastor Brad
